We’re so excited to be part of this year’s International Women’s Day celebrations in Seven Dials (Covent Garden): alongside the likes of artist Iona Rowland, Tatty Divine’s Rosie Wolfenden & Harriet Vine, Co-founders of Redemption Catherine Salway & Andrea Waters, and Scarlett Curtis - author of the awesome “Feminists Don’t Wear Pink and Other Lies”!
We’re running a FREE zine-making workshop in the #BalanceForBetter hub on Sun 10th March:
After a few fun and interactive warm-up challenges to rev up our creativity, we’ll each create a gorgeous 8-page zine dedicated to a woman or women we admire, respect and #LOVE!
You can draw whatever or whoever, but here are some of our ideas:
Create a zine featuring some of the women who have inspired you throughout your life – e.g. artists, activists, teachers…
Create a self-love zine, all about wonderful YOU!
Create a zine all about one of the awesome women in your life, to give to them as a reminder of how ACE they are!
If you’re heading to see Scarlett Curtis in the afternoon, you could take the fan-girling up a notch and create a zine all about her – and/or some of the badass women featured in her book, Feminists Don’t Wear Pink (and other lies)!
All materials provided: just bring your ideas and get set to draw draw draw!
NB: This workshop is FULLY BOOKED but you can register for other events here.
