A Social Sketchup is a playful and inclusive drawing workshop that activates the social power of portraiture and the joy of sketch! It’s a levelling and uplifting experience that uses easy and experimental drawing to connect people from diverse disciplines, backgrounds and levels of creative experience.
We keep things fast, fun and colourful, and our playful prompts bring everyone onto the same page and slightly out of their comfort zone - where our creativity thrives!
Expect to draw with your non-dominant-hand, attempt something abstract, play with pointillism, draw Picasso-style and more!
In 60 minutes you won't master the art of portraiture - but we hope you will see drawing, and each other, in a fun new light. This is all about letting go, expressing your individuality and celebrating the common creative forces within us all!

Suitable for ALL levels - including those who think they “can’t draw”!
Can be delivered online or in person at a venue of your choice (we can also find you one)
All materials provided at in-person workshops - only basic materials required for online
Bookable Mon-Fri, 12-9pm subject to availability
Standard Sketchups last 60 minutes, but length can be tailored
Discounts available for non-profits and small/indie organisations
Music is usually played throughout the session but we can adapt this according to your needs

Looking for a unique way to celebrate and reward your team? We may be biased, but we reckon there’s nothing more special than getting your portrait drawn! We have a pool of talented Artists whose bold and colourful mini portraits make the perfect little gifts, and take no more than 10 minutes each. They also last a lot longer than a box of chocolates/bottle of wine - and are a lot more personal!
Our Artist/s could come for a couple of hours over lunch, or for a day - take up residency in your office and draw as many people as desired.
Or we can set up a ‘portrait bar’ and be the entertainment at your party!
Our Artists tend to work in pairs or in trios, so that each person gets to experience the magic of seeing themselves interpreted in different ways, but we can send solo Artists too.
Portraits will be drawn on our signature mini cards (A7) and we can even customise and add your branding/event details on the back of them if you’d like us to. We’ll bring the fun - you bring the faces!
