LOOKING FOR A Fun & memorable WAY to celebrate the festive season with your team?


Set to music and hosted by Sketch Appeal Founder Dulcie, our Festive Team Sketchups are playful and inclusive workshops which bring people together to interact, have a laugh, and draw colourful mini portraits (of each other)! They’re suitable for all levels - including those who think they “can’t draw” :)

After some fun warm-up games, Dulcie will ask for volunteers to strike a pose (for 6 minutes) whilst the rest of the group draw their portrait. You’ll be encouraged to share your work after each pose, but under no pressure to! Rest-assured this isn’t about drawing lifelike portraits that flatter and impress - it’s all about creative play and experimenting with unconventional approaches to drawing. Expect to draw portraits with your left hand, with your right hand, without looking at the page, Picasso-style, and more!

KEY INFO:

  • Team Sketchups can be delivered online or in person at a venue of your choice (we can also find you one!)

  • All materials provided at in-person workshops - only basic materials required for online

  • Bookable Mon-Fri, 12-9pm subject to availability

  • Standard Sketchups last 60 minutes, but length can be tailored

  • Discounts available for small/indie organisations

Looking for a unique way to celebrate and reward your team? We may be biased, but we reckon there’s nothing more special than getting your portrait drawn! We have a pool of talented Artists whose bold and colourful mini portraits make the perfect little gifts, and take no more than 10 minutes each. They also last a lot longer than a box of chocolates/bottle of wine - and are a lot more personal!

  • Our Artist/s could come for a couple of hours over lunch, or for a day - take up residency in your office and draw as many people as desired.

  • Or we can set up a ‘portrait bar’ and be the entertainment at your party!

Our Artists tend to work in pairs or in trios, so that each person gets to experience the magic of seeing themselves interpreted in different ways, but we can send solo Artists too.

Portraits will be drawn on our signature mini cards (A7) and we can even customise and add your branding/event details on the back of them if you’d like us to. We’ll bring the fun - you bring the faces!

PLAYTIME!

A fun and experimental workshop featuring a mix of playful and easy drawing challenges - from non-dominant hand still life and ‘blind’ drawn portraits, to a 7 minute ‘masterpiece’ and ‘50 faces in 15 minutes’ challenge!

This session can be themed and timed to suit your needs - from 30-60 minutes. A great lunchbreak moodbooster!

ARt Of SElf-LOVE Taster Workshop

A fun introduction to self-portraiture as as form of self-care, covering some of the key messages and activities in Dulcie’s book. A subtle but powerful way to spark self-reflection and boost self-esteem, this workshop will inspire people with creative ways to boost their confidence and mental health.
