summer art club in WESTMINSTER
We’re excited to be returning to Ebury Edge this August, to host a programme of creative workshops for children aged 6-16!
If your child/children love drawing and Art then this is the perfect programme to boost their creative confidence and skills. They’ll have the chance to experiment with new materials, ideas and styles - to explore and express their creativity in an inclusive and fun environment, without curriculum restraints!
Please note: The programme is funded by the UK government via Westminster City Council and is designed for children and young people who receive free school meals, though we have flexibility to accommodate others if spaces are available. Please contact dulcie@sketchappeal.co.uk if you have any questions.
AT A GLANCE
Sessions will run from 10.30am - 2.30pm, including a break for lunch.
A free, healthy lunch will be offered but children are welcome to bring packed lunches if preferred.
After lunch, we’ll make the most of the courtyard and play area at Ebury Edge - get active and play a few games, before we sit down for the afternoon session.
Location
Our Art Club will be based at Ebury Edge - a creative community hub close to Victoria and Pimlico stations.
Ebury Edge, 43 Ebury Bridge Rd, SW1W 8DX

Sketch Appeal is a CIC (Community Interest Company) on a mission to empower people to draw and create with freedom, for the JOY of it! We deliver inspiring and inclusive experiences that encourage people to PLAY, experiment and explore the limitless potential of their creativity, and by doing so develop their skills, social circle and sense of self. Much of our work is focused on portraiture, which we use as a catalyst to empower and connect people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities – including those who think they “can’t draw!” We run our own diverse programme of fun social sketching workshops, wellbeing projects and special events across London and online, as well as working in collaboration with others - including the NHS, Teenage Cancer Trust and the National Portrait Gallery, to name a few!
