Shakespeare once wrote “the object of art is to give life a shape” - so come throw some shapes on the sketchfloor and pay homage to the Bard, on World Shakespeare Day!

We had a lot of fun with at our first Shakespearean edition of Sketchy Bitches last year! Clari hammed it up. Leah fell under a spell. Rachael nearly stormed off!

This year, we’d love you to dress and act the part, of course - inspired by a play or character as before. OR, for an extra challenge, could you take your inspiration from phrases invented by Shakespeare? Here are some that could be fun…

• Make your hair stand on end

• The green-eyed monster

• Wear your heart on your sleeve

• The long and short of it

• Night owl

• In a pickle

• Heart of gold

• The apple of my eye

As usual, the (creative) play will be split into 2 acts, composed of 8 minute poses/portraits, plenty of audience interaction and an interval half way through.
