Join us for a special edition of Sketchy Bitches, with colour-loving Illustrator Claire Prouvost!

We’ve been HUGE fans of Dublin-based Illustrator Claire Prouvost since the very start of Sketch Appeal, so many of you will no doubt recognise her beautiful work. With some of her awesome illos featured in our new book, it’s high time we invited her to be our guest at Sketchy Bs!

This workshop will give you a unique insight into Claire’s creative process and approach to image-making. She’ll give us some sneak peeks at her sketchbooks, share some of her favourite creative exercises and ‘blockbusters’, and talk about her use of colour palettes, stylisation and more!

With inspiration and prompts from Claire, we’ll create a series of super-cool and colourful self-portraits, before we turn the tables and ask her to pose as our guest muse! We’ll spend the remainder of the session drawing each other.

Recommended materials = Bring plenty of colourful pens/pencils/paint, and if you can some oil pastels!
