Hot on the heels of London Fashion Week, we’re kicking off our Autumn series of Pret-A-Portrait workshops with an art-venture into the fabulous world of fashion illustration!
As usual, we’ll play both artist and muse: taking it in turns to pose whilst the rest of the group draw FIERCE AF fashion portraits of us - which we get to take home at the end!
In the morning, we’ll follow a series of fun and experimental prompts that will give us opportunity to try out different styles, materials and approaches to portraiture, including:
Blairz B*tches! Use pastels and ink to create smoky-eyed portraits in the style of iconic NYC fashion illustrator Blair Breitenstein!
Top Tips! Create some fabulous fashion portraits inspired by Queen of Felt Tip Fashion Art, Daisy De Villeneuve!
Playtime! Draw some non-dominant hand portraits using coloured pencils, inspired by your host and fashion illustration fiend Dulcimer Draws!
Loaded with confidence and inspo, in the afternoon we’ll draw mini portraits in our own style: using any materials and adding whatever fabulous twists we see fit!
